Recuva là một tiện ích miễn phí được phát triển bởi Piriform - tên tuổi gắn liền với các ứng dụng khá phổ biến với người dùng máy tính như: CCleaner, Recuva và Defraggler.
Recuva được sử dụng để phục hồi các file bị xoá tai hại từ máy tính bạn. Nó bao gồm các file rỗng từ Thùng rác cũng như file hình ảnh và file khác bị xoá bởi người dùng, lỗi từ thẻ nhớ máy quay kỹ thuật số hoặc trình chơi MP3. Nó thậm chí sẽ đem trở lại các file bị xoá bởi lỗi, xung đột và virus !
