What is IELTS®?

IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is an English language assessment test to measure the ability of people who wish to study or work in an environment where English is the language of communication. There are two versions of the test Academic and General Training. Those who desire university entrance take the Academic version and those who are looking to immigrate to an English-speaking country typically sit the General Training module. Results are expressed as an easy-to-understand Band Score.
