Rạng sáng 16/6 lúc 3 giờ, các fan yêu nhạc trên toàn thế giới đã được thưởng thức single mới của Mariah Carey mang tên "Obsessed" tại đài B96 Chicago. Yeah, Mariah Carey trước đây đã định chọn 1 bản ballad theo kiểu Butterfly làm single nhưng với cái nóng mùa hè đang hoành hành nên cô quyết định chuyển qua 1 track mid-tempo cực hot để phù hợp với hương vị mùa hè, đó chính là "Obsessed" . Ngay từ đầu Mimi đã có 2 tuyên bố về ca khúc này đó là và đây là , quả thực cái lyrics của ca khúc này hơi bị funny. Ca khúc nói về 1 người đàn ông bị ám ảnh bởi Mimi và sẽ ko bao giờ chịu ngừng nghỉ. Có thể nói suy luận của bà con trước đây sau vụ Eminem cho đến cái lyrics bị lộ lúc trước (tuy rằng lyrics đó chả đúng tẹo nào) là rất chính xác, lyrics của ca khúc này 99% là nói về Eminem ;) ! Nếu bà con ko tin thì nghía qua cái lyrics phía dưới coi Cat nói có đúng ko nha :D

Phần beat của ca khúc này quá là phê, catchy khỏi nói :x . Rất nhiều người đã cho rằng ca khúc này ổn hơn cả "Touch My Body" :D ! Fan của Mimi có vẻ rất khoái cái beat cùng lyrics này :D !



Có 1 điểm trong ca khúc này đó là Mimi sử dụng auto-tune trong toàn bộ từ đầu đến cuối "Obsessed" (trước đây Mimi ko thường sử dụng auto-tune cùng các stuff khác). Giá như nó sử dụng ít auto-tune đi thì có lẽ ca khúc này perfect

Cảm nhận lần đầu của bạn có thể chưa thích song này lắm nhưng khi đã nghe đi nghe lại vài lần thì ghiền nó là điều khó tránh khỏi (cái beat của nó catchy thế cơ mà :x ), lúc đó cứ lẩm bẩm thì đừng trách mình nhé :D ! Riêng mình thì mình đổ ngay từ lần đầu nghe :"> !

"Obsessed" sẽ khiến cho mùa hè 2009 thêm nóng hơn. Ca khúc như 1 tiếng nổ nhắc nhở mọi người Mariah Carey đã trở lại (tiện thể nhắc nhở ai đó luôn) và nó như 1 ngòi nổ mới được châm để chuẩn bị nổ tung quả bom "Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel" sẽ được lên kệ vào tháng 8 tới.
